Norman is the director of the Centre of Advanced Materials Joining at the University of Waterloo. He is a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics engineering and has previously

co-founded Smarter Alloys, a smart materials company in the automotive and health space.

Robert is the leader of the WaterPuris team. He is a postdoctoral fellow and research engineer in Mark Servos’ group and the Centre of Advanced Materials Joining. He is passionate about R&D and entrepreneurship related to materials and environmental applications.

BUSINESS ADVISER

John is a serial entrepreneur that is advising WaterPuris on business strategies. He has helped found (Microbonds) and build a number of companies by utilizing his background and network in microelectronics, environmental technologies, entrepreneurship, and manufacturing.
